QHVSG, whilst partially funded by the Queensland Government, is heavily reliant on the financial generosity of the Queensland community and its corporate citizens. Organisations looking to make an important Social Investment should consider sponsorship alignment with QHVSG’s fundraising arm, the Daisy Chain Foundation, or its signature community awareness campaign, One Punch Can Kill.

The Daisy Chain Foundation was established by QHVSG as a more gentle means of fostering community awareness and support for the work we do. QHVSG recognises homicide is not a pretty word, but sadly it is real, for each life lost to homicide entire communities of people are affected – family, friends, work colleagues, neighbours, sporting teams and so forth. Daisy Chain Foundation hosts a number of special events throughout the year including its highly successful Media and Maple Syrup event on International Women’s Day. Daisy Chain Foundation accepts financial sponsorship and media partnerships from organisations interested in showing their support for QHVSG and its members.
As the official brand custodian of One Punch Can Kill campaign QHVSG is receptive to corporate sponsorships from organisations with a commitment to the health and wellbeing of our society. Whilst OPCK has a predominant male youth focus, its anti-violence message holds broad appeal throughout the whole of Australia and across all cultures and generations. 2014 will represent the first year OPCK has been opened to formal sponsorship.
Organisations interested in becoming a corporate partner to Daisy Chain Foundation or our OPCK campaign should contact QHVSG’s General Manager, Ross Thompson directly.
